Indigo Love / Few & Far is a growing furniture and homewares business based in Huskisson on the South Coast of NSW. Considered an industry benchmark and recent recipients of international and local awards. We import a curated selection of one-of-a-kind pieces from all over the globe. We currently operate 4 retail stores, online stores and a wholesale outlet, selling Australia wide and are extremely passionate about what we do!

About the role

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes all things Shopify and Web Development! We’re a fast-growing retail business with a strong Ecommerce presence and we’re looking for someone to take our online stores to the next level. 

Our head office is located in one of the most beautiful towns on NSW’s South Coast, Huskisson! With stores in Huskisson, Berry, Bowral and more to come, we’re after someone who is energetic and a self starter with strong problem solving skills.

Ecommerce Manager's Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of websites including products, content, and merchandising.

  • Utilise web analysis to identify actionable improvements that can be made on the websites to further drive conversions and manage the changes through end-to-end.

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technology to identify opportunities to grow the eCommerce channel and drive online sales performance.

  • Website design and development using Shopify’s Liquid.

  • Consistently improving the website’s functionality with the use of updated code and new and improved apps and plug-ins.

  • Work collaboratively with the Inventory Manager to monitor and maintain stock levels across the websites.

  • Regular reporting to key stakeholders on the website performance.

  • SEO and SEM - optimise website structure and content for SEO, and paid online advertisements for SEM.

  • Convert website visits to online sales by ensuring a smooth and optimised website navigation experience and up to date promotional materials across website

  • Manage product content for online store, ensuring all imagery, descriptions and pricing remain accurate and up to date at all times

  • Visually merchandise products across all categories for an engaging online experience

  • Utilise website metrics (e.g Google Analytics) to make recommendations to optimise website design and performance

  • Measure and report on performance

  • Brief and manage the end-to-end delivery of digital graphic assets required for the websites and digital marketing campaigns.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and contribute to a fully integrated digital marketing strategy including EDMs, social, paid search, SEO and content.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience using Shopify (Liquid) essential

  • Experience using formulas in Google Sheets/Excel

  • Sound knowledge of HTML, CSS and Liquid (Shopify)

  • Excellent planning and analytical skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Exceptional written communication skills, including experience with brand copywriting

  • Demonstrates initiative and has a solid attention to detail

  • Strong organisational skills and time management skills

  • Enjoy working in a close-knit team

  • Tertiary qualification in IT (website development and design) and/or Marketing and Communications is a bonus

  • Self-motivated, ability to manage an array of daily tasks

  • Bachelor’s degree in software, web development or computer science desired but not essential.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on the experience of the applicant.
