Few and Far, an award winning homewares and furniture store is looking for a friendly, motivated and passionate Christmas Casual Retail Sales Assistant’s to join our team during the busy holiday period across 4 locations - Berry, Bowral, Thirroul & Huskisson!

• Are you a highly organised person who can think on their feet in a busy retail environment?

• Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for interiors?

 Job tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

• Ascertain customers' needs and wants and recommend items that match customer needs

• Welcome and greet customers

• Manage point-of-sale processes

• Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments

• Keep up to date with product information

• Follow all company policies and procedures 

Skills and experience

Our ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

• Proven sales experience in a similar retail business

• You are a people person, who enjoys interacting and building relationships with customers and staff

• Excellent communication skills and a team player

• You demonstrate a strong sense of initiative

• You have the ability to lead by example

• Good knowledge of POS platforms

• A sharp eye for visual merchandising and maintaining the presentation of the store

• You are comfortable working to a brief and sales target

• You have a high level of personal presentation

• Great knowledge and a passion for design and homewares
