This piece was discovered in the Northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, a neighbour to the majestic Himalayan mountain range. It is a place with a magical undercurrent. Intoxicating incense smoke would drift amongst the scattered Tibetan temples and Buddhist monasteries, floating into the windows of the traditional Himachali homes. Crafted from teakwood and finished in a wash of white, this piece has a stunning symmetrical floral motif hand carved into its centre.
