Lunar artwork has a unique ability to capture the essence of the moon's mystique and allure. Grey and blue tones are used to convey the ethereal quality of the moonlight. The shimmering effect is achieved through the use of tonal gradients that softly blend into one another, creating a sense of depth and movement. Lunar evokes a sense of wonder and awe, transporting the viewer to a place beyond the earthly realm.

About The Artist

Gonia Chylinska

Gonia Chylinska is an emerging Australian abstract artist with a Polish background. She currently lives in Wollongong on the South Coast of NSW. Gonia began her creative journey over 20 years ago while studying her Master of Art at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw.

Gonia invites viewers on an emotional journey with her vibrant abstract art, which captures stories without words. Her use of vivid colours and intricate brush strokes evoke a feeling of contemplation as the eye wanders across shapes and lines to create something entirely new—a world that pushes boundaries while also inviting imagination and self-interpretation. Every colour palette has its own personality; darker tones invite us into moody depths while lighter hues beckon us towards joyous heights.

Gonia’s expressive paintings are both inspiring and grounding - perfect for any space seeking mindful reflection in celebration of beauty. Her art encapsulates themes of contrast and harmony, chaos and fluidity, stillness and movement. Gonia focuses on emotions and memories associated with colours and textures. She is allowing intuition to help her explore the balance between static composition and lively motion.
