About the positionÂ
This role will require an organised and proactive individual to assist the business owners by handling all day-to-day accounting and management of the finance function. The candidate will be a qualified accountant with several years' experience in a similar position in a small to medium sized enterprise.Â
Reporting to the business owners, you will be expected to drive any change necessary to help future proof the business. With two reports under you, this is a great opportunity to join a high achieving and enthusiastic team.Â
About you
LEADERSHIP: A Strong leader with an eye on the commercial and financial outcomes, with a focus on building and improving the finance function. You will provide oversight and guidance to the finance team, including the payroll functions.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: You are hands on and not afraid to build on the foundations that already exists in the finance function. Your background must have equipped you with both day-to-day accounting management along with financial and management accounting skills beyond just the production of monthly accounts. You will have had the opportunity to work closely with the shareholders, providing reports and insight to management relating to issues that impact business performance, efficiency improvements and more stringent control over financial resources and will have a proven ability to look-forward.
THE TECHNICALITIES: You act as a subject matter expert in your area of expertise. You will provide the business with meaningful data and contribute to the success of Indigo Love through your superb knowledge of a full finance function, including tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and more. You will need a strong background in financial accounting or similar position, you will also have leadership experience. Knowledge of Xero accounting system and CIN-7 is advantageous.
