Few and Far is a furniture and homewares brand. Our head office is based in Huskisson (soon to be Nowra), a beautiful and bustling town on the South Coast of NSW. Our stores are located in Huskisson, Berry, Bowral and Thirroul. Our stores have been known to take you on a journey of discovery, where you can get lost in time, with a focus on experience and how they make you ‘feel’. We specialise in sourcing one-of-a-kind pieces from around the globe to create soulful and timeless interiors. We also have a wholesale business Indigo Love that provides products to stockists Australia-wide and abroad.


About You:

· Based in Nowra/Jervis Bay or the surrounding areas (able to be in the office 3-4 days a week to capture content)

· You’re passionate about marketing, interiors and design! Note: this is a Junior role so years of industry experience is less a focus, but your eagerness/energy is key!

· You enjoy crafting creative on brand content from blog posts to social videos and everything in between.

· You’re a team player, flexible, adaptable and happy to pitch in to get the job done, juggling multiple tasks and feeling the rush of accomplishment following a busy day.

· You’re adept at working with all the usual Office software, social media channels, and comfortable with tech and learning new systems as required. We use: Shopify, Hubspot, Klaviyo, Later, Google Ads Manager, Facebook Ads Manager – to name a few.

· You’re not afraid to ask questions.

· Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

 

The Role

Social Media Management:

· Plan, schedule and publish all social media posts / organic content (incl. Posts, stories, reels etc) on social platforms for both brands Few & Far and Indigo Love including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, ensuring consistency and timely delivery of content, including developing individual publishing schedules for our social channels.

· Develop ideas to deliver strong follower growth and engagement e.g., using engagement strategies such as engaging content, giveaways/competitions

· Research current social media trends, best practices, new content types, new channels, hashtags and sounds to leverage in content

· Provide monthly summary reporting and insights on the social media performance to ensure effectiveness and consider learnings for future content

Content Creation:

· Liaise with the Creative team including external photographers and external/internal stylists to organise shoots

· Capture and create social content at our shoots, including educational content such as how to's 

· Conduct keyword research to identify blog content opportunities

· Assist in preparing briefs for external copywriters

· Write some blogs (leveraging Ai) to support our SEO strategy (created by Marketing Manager)

· Support the creation of SEO optimised landing pages for keywords 

 PR/Media

· Assist in testing PR channels like Linkby and developing PR pitches for publications 

· Ideate potential backlink opportunities (e.g., What to do in Bowral?) and conduct outreach to get featured/ back links

 

Influencer Marketing

· Manage influencer activities 

· Brief influencers & content creators for on-brand content

· Track and evaluate influencer spend and effectiveness

 

Wholesale Lead Development

· Using our map of stockists, find gaps in Australian market and identify potential leads to onboard as wholesale accounts

· Perform desktop research to find top players in industries we target e.g., top homewares/gift stores, top florists, top hamper companies etc

 

Marketing Overall

· Support the Marketing Manager with additional advertising activities including ads, events, collaborations/partnerships 

· Key additional areas to learn from Marketing Manager:

o Facebook Ads

o Pinterest Ads

o Email / SMS Marketing

o SEO / SEM (Google Ads)

o Assist with marketing promotions for our stores (online and bricks & mortar) and collaborate with the team to develop compelling offers and incentives for our customers.

     

    Remuneration is negotiable depending on the experience of the applicant.
