The team at Three Birds Renovations have injected life into Mick Fanning's beautiful beachside property. Rolling Seas is a home away from the hustle and bustles of city life.
The home and guesthouse were initially built with natural materials such as wood stain finish which gives off an aesthetic vibe unique among condos in this area; they've added pops of colour so you'll feel connected to the landscape as soon as you step inside.
When it comes to maintaining a clean and functional dining room, there are a number of factors to consider. One of the most important things to consider is striking the perfect balance between organisation and functionality.Â
Our beautiful, rustic Chinese Wash Basin has been perched atop this beautiful dining table. These Chinese Wash Basins are the perfect piece for an extravagant fruit display, or cascading floral arrangement while still adding a touch of elegance to the dining room.
It was in China’s central province of Hubei we found these beautiful timber wash basins. Crafted from poplar wood over 60 years ago, these basins were originally used by families to wash clothes and other textiles each morning. They’re modest and humble in design, but with a texture and patina that is unparalleled by contemporary pieces.Â

When renovating a coastal home it can be tempting to go with a sleek and modern design that plays up the natural beauty of the seaside location. However, adding touches of timber into the space can help to bring out the relaxed and laid-back atmosphere of this kind of setting.Crafted from 70-year-old teakwood, our Vintage Bajot Statue Stands (or pooja mandir) were found in a rural home in Rajasthan. They were perhaps once mounted on a wall or placed atop a specific bajot table to display small idols of gods and goddesses revered for protecting farms, households or families.
Each was unique to the home and family to which it belonged, which is exactly why we love them and return to them each season. In your home, place it on a sideboard or console table and use it to display a cluster of decorative items and precious trinkets.
Adding touches of timber to a coastal renovation is a great way to bring a calm, rustic feel to the space. Using wood accents like our Vintage Indian Bajots and Trays helps to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly balances the coolness of coastal design.
If you're looking for subtle hints of nature and tradition in a modern space, adding touches of timber can be an ideal way to achieve that perfect balance.Â
Crafted from teak, these perfectly worn old storage trays feature in Mick Fanning's coastal kitchen are as useful as they are beautiful. They may have once been used to transport grain and spices to village markets or to store essential items in a household of Rajasthan.
Place yours on a sideboard in your home to hold a display of precious items or even in your kitchen as an imaginative breadbasket or fruit bowl. It would also make a whimsical and practical storage solution in your child’s bedroom for all of their blocks and treasures.
This dining room by the team at Three Birds Renovations features an elegant, refined atmosphere where diners are able to savour exquisite food while enjoying some of the most breathtaking views in the world.
When decorating a coastal home, nothing is more important than creating a comfortable and inviting space. One key element that is essential to achieving this goal is the dining table. To achieve this effect, many homeowners choose to style their dining tables with classic pieces that reflect the beauty of their coastal surroundings.
We love the way the team at Three Birds Renovations have used both our Arya Candlestand and our Marble Parat. Marbles are a beautiful and versatile material that can be used to create stunning decorative pieces.
Each one of our marble parat bowls were, at one time, a mainstay in an Indian kitchen. They were traditionally used for kneading yeasted dough to make roti and were often passed down from generation to generation (along with the delicious recipes). This is actually why the edges are raised; it allows the dough to rise. Each parat bowl has a unique character and story of its own as each piece has been formed by hand.

What we love about the styling in these spaces is that no detail is overlooked. They've carefully curated pieces and given love, thought and attention to each space - even the sinks.
Sinks and sink styling can completely change the look and feel of a kitchen. Consider styles like drop-in sinks for greater convenience when working with large pots and pans, or under mount sinks for a sleek aesthetic that draws attention away from the harsh lines of moulding. In addition, make sure that you have plenty of well-placed soap dispensers and hand towels within arm's reach. This will help you keep your sink area clean and sanitary at all times without having to spend precious time hunting down soaps and towels.
We love how our brick moulds have been utilised to create an organised and aesthetic sink area!Â
Crafted from teak and strapped in iron, these beautiful antique brick moulds are a treasure to which we often return. They tell the story of rural Rajasthan, and the skilled makers who made clay and mud bricks for buildings throughout the region over 80 years ago. Sometimes, these moulds would feature an internal symbol or logo so that a craftsman’s brickwork could be identified. Today, their uses are endless; you can style them in your bathroom, filled with rolled towels and fresh soap, or on your kitchen island filled with spice jars and dried herbs.
From organising your sink area to choosing the right hand soaps, it can be easy to overlook simple but essential elements like brick mould or sink styling. But by taking the time to focus on these seemingly minor details, you can create a truly functional and stylish space for cooking and cleaning.
Ultimately, by focusing on the small details in your kitchen and dining spaces, you can create a streamlined space that is both beautiful and practical. Whether you're looking for more style or more convenience, taking any tips from these beautifully curated spaces are sure to make any kitchen or dining room feel like home.Â
