SILENT SEASONS

Originally the Ochiba Table Lamp, a sculptural table lamp named after the Japanese word for “fallen leaves” and formed in pale resin with a gently tapered silhouette. Molly reimagined the Ochiba Table Lamp using bark, dried flowers, dominoes, shells, oil stick, epoxy putty, paper and acrylic paint, drawing on the lamp’s name as a starting point for an assemblage of found and natural materials.
Part of RE/CRAFTED, an exhibition bringing together ten artists to transform familiar pieces from our collection through their individual creative practices.
